I get a lot of questions about what the difference is between an a-line bob versus an inverted bob and which one is the best choice. The truth is they’re both the same thing. They just have different names. So what an a-line or an inverted bob is, is a bob that’s shorter in the back that gradually goes forward and has a really slight little bevel over it.
We’re not talking about something that’s super stacked in the back or like the Victoria Beckham look. It’s a very slight transition from the back of the hair to the front of the hair, but it does get gradually longer. Sometimes it can come to a little point in the front. But sometimes it can come to more of a blunt bob edge in the front, too. It’s just depends on how you like the style it. But it definitely goes from shorter to longer.
So that would be an a-line bob or an inverted bob.
